  • What am I required to do prior to my appointment?
    All patients must review the FAQ’s below and complete the screening questions. The screening questions will also apply to those that accompany patients. The screening questions will be made available to you on our website, online booking, email reminders, and posted on our reception desk. Only those who pass the screening questions continue to their scheduled appointment. We ask that each patient arrive to your appointment with a mask for your protection and the protection of others, . If you do not own one, we will provide this to you upon arrival.
  • Can I bring someone with me?
    Wherever possible, we are encouraging all patients above the minority age of 19 to come independently to their appointments in order to reduce the risk of COVID spread. If you require assistance at your appointment, all guests will be asked to complete and pass the pre-screening questions.
  • When should I arrive at my appointment
    We ask you arrive punctually.
  • What should I expect at my appointment?
    Please enter the office, use hand sanitizer at the entrance door, then immediately go straight into the open treatment room that has been cleaned for you. Please use the chair or treatment table for your comfort.The waiting room chairs have been removed. The washroom is closed.
  • What should I bring with me?
    Please bring the following to your appointment: Mask – please wear a mask when entering the clinic. If you do not have one, we will provide one upon check in. Water bottle – we are no longer providing cups onsite and encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle. Credit card – please bring your credit/debit card to the appointment as we are limiting the receipt of cash currently. Preferably etransfer is to be used for payments and receipts.
  • What measures are in place to ensure safety?
    Advantage Physiotherapy wants to reassure all patients that our clinic is a safe environment for all to attend. We have taken the following measures under the direction of all Regulatory Associations, Public Health, and Chief Medical Officer. Our booking time appointments have been modified to maintain physical distancing requirements that take priority over occupancy limits. We have also acquired all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect and prevent the spread of COVID19. Sanitization follows the Health Canada guidelines including hand sanitizers and disinfecting products. All patient areas are cleansed between each patient use.
  • Is the washroom available?
    The washroom, laundry area and gym are currently closed and are not available except for emergency exit.
  • What if I become sick prior to my appointment?
    Stay home, consult with Provincial healthlink (tel 811), and don't forget to cancel your appointment with us. We do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. In light of potential covid-19 cross contamintation we expect safety first. If in doubt, phone us 250-743-3891
